Quick Option Settings

The Options window allows you to make some standard settings quickly. This window is an "always on top" window like the Cue Cards. You can scroll down for more info, or click on the image above to bring info related to the specific button/field to the top of this frame.

Reset to Defaults button

By default, the Update List shows all issues that have not yet been updated. You can change that to any of the options shown here, or by clicking the Find button. To reset the display back to the defaults, you can click this button, and then click Refresh.

Show Issues for matched titles only
If you select this option, FWIW will only display the matched titles, making it much easier to navigate and update the issues in your collection.

FWIW will flag all the issues for the titles that you have matched via the match window.  It takes a minute or two, based on the speed of your machine, to go through all 60,000 + records to do this, but, it's worth it, since the update process will then take considerably less time.  Whenever you make changes via the match window, FWIW will attempt to run this flagging process.   You can also run it from the File menu.
Show Issues Not Yet Updated
By default, the Update List shows all issues that have not yet been updated. Therefore, you can run the process as often as you like, and it will only update issues that have not yet been updated.

Show All Issues
Click this option to display all issues in the list whether or not they have been updated.

Show Updated Issues Only
Select this option to view only those issues that have already been updated. This is a convenient way to review any changes that have been made.

Show Non-Numeric Issues only
The Update process has a tough time matching non-numeric entries. For example, a limited edition may be listed as issue 100A in the update list, but simply issue 100 in your collection. Select this option to view only issues with a non-numeric issue number. This is useful in determining if you need to make some changes to make sure the update can match issues properly.

Show Non-Numeric Issues only
If you turn this option on, FWIW will update, without asking for confirmation, any exact matches for non-numeric issues.  For example, if FWIW has Ultimate Spider-man #1A on the list, and it finds an Ultimate Spider-man #1A on your data, it will update that without asking for a confirmation.  If you leave this turned off, FWIW will ask for confirmation on any non-numeric issues.

As Of Date
The As of date field lists all the as of dates found in the update database. Youc can select any one of them, or all of them ti display. This is especially useful if you only want to update the most recent month's activity.

Refresh button
The Refresh button will update the rewcords in the list based on the current selection criteria.

Close button
Click this button to close the window.
